It's Tuesday, and the slate is actually interesting today.
I've got one play I feel really clean about, a couple of caution-side props where the matchup data is doing a lot of work, and one situation where the zig-zag theory is genuinely in play. Premium subscribers have the full breakdown with my zone-by-zone analysis and Jared Block from Trinity Analytics is in the building for another edition of Building Blocks too.
For you? I'm giving you enough to know today is worth paying attention to.
🏆 Last call — TWO contests close at 4:07 PM ET today
I have TWO Hit Streak Survivor contests launching today through Splash Sports, and the entry deadline is 4:07 PM ET. Both are smaller-field contests this time around, which means a better shot at winning.
Here's what you need to know:
Contest 1 — Hit Streak Survivor (Classic)
Pick one batter to get a hit each day. The last person standing wins the full prize pool. Survive longest, win it all. Plus — if your pick hits for the cycle on any day you select them, you win the $10,000 Cycle Jackpot.
Contest 2 — Seven-Day Survivor Sprint
Same rules, but this one ends after exactly SEVEN DAYS. Everyone still alive at the end splits the prize pool evenly. It's a shorter window with better odds of seeing a payout.
Both contests start Tuesday. You can enter one or both.
First time on Splash Sports? Use promo code PROPQUEEN at signup and you'll get $20 in free QuickPicks entries — no deposit required.
🎯 My hit picks today (thanks to Props.cash)
Brice Turang • George Springer • Josh Jung • Bryan Reynolds • JJ Wetherholt • Corbin Carroll
What's on the K prop board today?
There's a left-handed starter going up against a lineup that has been absolutely eating LHP alive — 14 of the last 16 left-handed starters cleared 2.5 Ks against this offense. The line is cheap. It's the cleanest play on my board.
There's also a plus-money under that I like for the matchup but am holding at arm's length because of what this pitcher has done against this team historically. And a righty going into a high-K ballpark where 6 of the last 10 pitchers in this spot cleared their K prop — but his track record against this specific lineup is giving me pause.
If you want to know the names, the lines, the odds, and the full zone-by-zone breakdown with Jared's Building Blocks research layered in — that's what premium is for.
