I’ve been thinking a lot about Year One of Prop Queen Sports!

Not in a victory-lap way — more in a “what actually helped people win vs. what I thought would” way.

If you’re here, you want better betting info and a process that makes sense.

So here are three things I learned in Year One — and why they matter to you.

1. A daily show isn’t a business. A system is.

When I started Prop Queen, I thought the goal was a daily live show — something I could monetize the way big network shows do.

What I learned fast:
Those shows already have a business model behind them. The talent is just plugged in.

I don’t have that luxury. I am the business.

Prop Queen had to become more than something you watch at 5pm. It had to be something you can use when you’re staring at a board and don’t know what to do.

That’s why the focus shifted to:

  • prop guides you can reference anytime

  • daily newsletters that actually explain why something matters

  • YouTube videos that don’t expire after one slate

  • a clear method for how to think through props — not just what to bet

What that means for you:
You’re not just paying for entertainment or picks. You’re paying for better information and a better process — that doesn’t stop when the NFL season ends.

2. The hardest part wasn’t the work. It was branding.

The hardest thing this year wasn’t the hours.
It was making sure Prop Queen didn’t turn into a pick-selling service.

I’ve always hated that model (for me 😉). The best thing a listener told me was he made a bet different than mine, but with the info I gave him and his bet hit! That’s the point. Do I think you’ll be a more profitable bettor long term if you follow the Prop Queen Method? ABSOLUTELY. But, what I preach is more doing better research, than just here’s the best bet, bet your life on it.

The challenge has been building something that helps without crossing into tout territory. And yeah, I’m still refining that. It changes as the business grows.

That’s the reality of building something from scratch.

What that means for you:
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by “locks” and “guarantees,” you’re not wrong. Betting gets easier when you understand how to evaluate spots — not when someone yells picks at you.

You’ll see that philosophy continue as more Prop Queen Method content and NBA/MLB research tools roll out over the next few months.

3. Long-term wins beat short-term noise.

The live stream grew. Engagement was good. Views were climbing.

But it was costing me the ability to build things that last.

Stopping the daily stream freed up time to:

  • build better tools

  • write better newsletters

  • launch Betting On Yourself

  • let edges live longer on YouTube instead of expiring in 24 hours

And the audience told me they preferred that anyway.
They want things they can come back to — not just something to scroll past.

What that means for you:
If you’re serious about betting year-round, you need resources that don’t disappear after football season.

That’s exactly what we’re doubling down on now.

What to expect post-NFL

Here’s what’s coming while football’s quiet:

  • Daily NBA newsletters focused on trends, not just matchups

  • Prizepicks “Build a Lineup With Me” livestreams to stay engaged with everyone

  • MLB futures content before prices move

  • Pitcher prop tools & spreadsheets before Opening Day

  • More guides you can actually reference

  • NEW: WEBINARS before a new season, big event or playoffs so people can help you how to bet them correctly

Football may be King.
But smart betting doesn’t disappear in February.

If anything, this is where it matters most. THESE are the seasons to make money.

I appreciate every one of you who’s still here — reading, watching, asking questions, and building your own edge alongside me.

Year Two starts now!
