The guy on the mound for the Guardians tonight grew up cheering for the Rays. He was in the stands at the Trop the last time Tampa won a World Series game. Tonight a crowd of his friends and family is going to watch him try to bury the team he grew up loving.

I went through the postseason splits, the home/road numbers and the matchup history. A few plays stood out right away. One of them comes with a stat so lopsided I had to read it twice. Another is a line I like but won’t pay the price for.
