Hi subscribers! It’s NFL Opening Day! With Thursday Night Football tonight, I’ve listed some of my favorite NFL props below. It’s a short slate in MLB, but there were some good pitcher prop options as well. Since this morning’s newsletter, I’ve added Matchups to Watch and some hitter props.

Cowboys at Eagles - 8:20 PM ET on NBC/Peacock

DAL TE Jake Ferguson Under 34.5 Rec Yds -114

When Ferguson faced a defense top 10 against tight ends last year, he went under 34.5 receiving yards in six of seven matchups. Last year, the Eagles had the best defense against tight ends limiting the position to 34.8 receiving yards per game. Only 32% of tight ends went over their receiving yards prop last year against Philly.

PHI WR Jahan Dotson Over 7.5 Rec Yds -114

Dotson secretly has great success against Dallas. He racks up 35.2 receiving yards per game against Dem Boyz since 2022. At home, Dotson averages 16.3 yards per game (7.1 on the road). Last year, Dallas allowed the sixth most receiving yards per game to wide receivers. They allowed 7.9 yards per attempt ranking 31st in the league. With so many other options for the Cowboys defense to focus on, Dotson should get open again tonight.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts Over 40.5 Rush Yds -113

I know this feels like a public play, but if there’s any way to play Hurts tonight, it’s on the ground. He ran for 50.5 rushing yards per game at home last year (33.6 on the road). Last year against the Cowboys, Hurts ran for 56 yards. The Cowboys allowed the most rushing yards per game to quarterbacks last year. Losing Micah Parsons to Green Bay didn’t help the Cowboys defense get any better.
