Every morning before I look at a single K prop line, I open one tool and run the same process.

It takes about two minutes. Sometimes less.

It answers the most important question in the hitting prop market: not who is hitting well — but who is most likely to get a hit tonight given the specific pitcher they're facing, the park they're playing in and the time the game starts.

Those are different questions. Most bettors answer the first one. The edge lives in the second.

Today I want to show you exactly how I did it — because the slate is short, the matchups are interesting and the same process I use for hitter props is the exact same process I use to make my daily picks in the Splash Sports Hit Streak Survivor contest.

🔨 HITTER PROPS VIA PROPS.CASH — HOW I'M USING IT TODAY

This is my favorite prop tool. It can making the toughest market in sports easier - the hitting market.

Props.cash is where I start every single time.

Will Smith · C · Los Angeles Dodgers · Over 1.5 HRR -135 vs. Miami Marlins · 10:10 PM ET

When I opened Props.cash today and filtered the Hits + Runs + RBI market, Smith jumped out immediately. He had a +0.4 edge rating and an A- matchup — he was the only player combining both of those on the slate. That’s the combo I look for.

Digging into his splits: at home against a righty starter at night, Smith averages 2.2 HRR and has averaged 2 HRR across his 4 career games against the Marlins over the last two years.

The line was showing -150 in some places but BetMGM had it at -135 which is the number worth targeting.

Daulton Varsho · OF · Toronto Blue Jays · Over 0.5 Total Bases -140 vs. Boston Red Sox · 7:07 PM ET

Varsho has been one of the better home performers against lefty starters in the data. Over his last 20 home games against lefties he's hit at an 82% rate averaging 3 total bases. Tonight he faces Ranger Suarez, a lefty, at home. The matchup data lines up well with the historical trend.

Against Boston specifically across the last two years he's averaging 2.5 total bases and gone over 0.5 total bases in 4 of 6 games.

🎯 HOW I USE PROPS.CASH FOR HIT STREAK SURVIVOR

Here's the actual process I used this morning to find my Splash Sports picks — and you can do the exact same thing:

Open Props.cash and go to the Hits section. Under Filters, toggle to Overs only and set Alt Lines to 0.5 — because in Hit Streak Survivor the only thing that matters is whether a player gets a hit. Odds are irrelevant.

Then sort by Edge and look at the Matchup column. The players with the best edge scores and the strongest matchup grades are your starting point.

Today that process pointed me straight to Will Smith — biggest edge, best matchup, strong home splits against a righty at night.

When I clicked Paddack's name in the top right of Smith's profile, the matchup note confirmed it: contact leads here, .304 BA vs. righties, Paddack allows .286 to righties.

The Whole Point

This is what Props.cash does that I haven't found anywhere else — it takes the matchup, the splits, the historical hit rate and the handedness data and surfaces the players where everything lines up at once. I'm not guessing. I'm not going on vibes about who's been hot lately. I'm following the data to the two players where tonight's specific conditions — pitcher, park, time slot, handedness — all point the same direction.

Picks for Survivor. Done in two minutes.

🏆 THE $35K HIT STREAK SURVIVOR 🏆

STARTS TUESDAY

Speaking of Survivor — we are 515 entries in out of 1,945 and the contest doesn't start until tomorrow. We've given away $45,000 in total prizes across our contests and today we're likely paying out another $20,000 winner from the current one.

This next contest — Ariel's $35K Hit Streak Survivor: The Daily Double — is our biggest yet. Here's how it works:

Pick two batters per day to record a base hit. Both need to get there or you're out. You can't reuse the same batter twice. There's also a $10,000 Cycle Jackpot — if one of your daily picks hits for the cycle, you win the bonus on top of everything else. Entry is $20. Prize pool is $35,010.

The Props.cash process above is exactly how I approach my daily picks for this. Two minutes of research, one confident decision per day.

🔒 What's Behind the Paywall Today

Today's K prop slate is short — it's a Monday — but there's real information in the board cut for the games that are on tonight.

Here's what premium subscribers get:

2 Sharp Zone plays — including a buy-low spot on a pitcher walking into the best strikeout matchup he's seen all year, and a road under with a pitcher whose away splits tell a completely different story than his overall numbers

2 Caution Zone breakdowns — two pitchers where the matchup data points a direction but the sample size or the pitcher's own profile is making me pump the brakes

1 Danger Zone number — a line that is genuinely uncomfortable on both sides for reasons I'll explain, and why I think the right move might be to step back from it entirely
