One month into the 2026 MLB season and the strikeout prop market is starting to tell a very clear story.
Some lineups are printing overs for pitchers week after week. Some are killing strikeout props so consistently that the matchup alone should determine whether you bet or walk away. The books — for all their sophistication — are still getting certain lineups wrong on a near-daily basis.
I track all of it. Every team. Every handedness split. Over/under records, average Ks allowed per start, how the numbers shift when you separate lefty starters from righties. I update it every week and share it with premium subscribers as part of their membership. The over/under averages are in this link:

Today I want to show you what that data looks like — and what it's telling me about tonight's Friday slate specifically.
The Most Important Numbers Through One Month of Baseball
Here's a snapshot from the 2026 Prop Queen Lineup Strikeout Power Rankings — updated through April 30th.
The hardest lineup to strike out right now:
The Minnesota Twins are the most contact-first lineup in baseball — 4.11 Ks allowed per start overall. Against righties specifically they're at 4.31 and sitting at a 28% over rate on K props — meaning pitchers go over their strikeout prop against Minnesota less than 3 times out of 10. If you see a pitcher facing the Twins tonight, the answer is under or don't bet it.
The most K-prone lineup right now:
The Dodgers are at 60% overall — and 83% against lefties specifically.
Why the Dodgers Are the Best Strikeout Prop Target in Baseball
Lefty starters have gone over their K prop against the Dodgers in 5 of 6 starts this season. 83% over rate. It's not because the Dodgers are striking out a lot overall — it's because books keep setting lefty K props against LA too low, pricing them as if the Dodgers are going to knock a pitcher out early.
They're not. Against lefties specifically the Dodgers are allowing 5 Ks per start on average and the over is cashing at a rate that should make you pay attention every single time a lefty takes the mound against them.
Tonight there's a lefty starting against the Dodgers at 8:15 PM ET. I have him in the Sharp Zone of tonight's board cut. The number is set too low for what the Dodgers do to pitchers like him. The full breakdown — including the specific splits, the matchup history and why I think this is one of the cleaner plays on tonight's slate — is behind the paywall.
Here's one more for free before we get there.
Joey Cantillo · LHP · Cleveland · Over 5.5 Ks +105 at Oakland Athletics · 9:40 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics are allowing 6.12 Ks per start against left-handed pitchers — the highest rate in baseball. Lefty starters have gone over their K prop against the Athletics in 5 of 7 starts this season.
Cantillo has gone over in 3 of 4 starts against high-K lineups this year. And when lefties have gone over against Oakland this season, they've produced 6+ Ks every single time — not squeaking past the number, genuinely dominating.
Plus money. Best lefty strikeout matchup in baseball. Pitcher who has been delivering in exactly these spots.
That's the Prop Queen Method in action. Start with the lineup data. Find the matchup where the numbers on both sides point the same direction. Then check the price.

🏆 GUESS WHAT’S BACK?!?!?
Did you miss the one-batter-only Hit Streak Survivor format like I did?
Our last few Splash Sports contests had you picking two batters a day — both had to get a hit to stay alive. The prize pools were bigger ($35K), but I heard you loud and clear: picking two is hard. One bad lineup decision, one cold bat, one late scratch and you're done. The margin for error is tough.
Well, Splash Sports heard it too.
Ariel's $20K Hit Streak Survivor is back — and you only have to pick ONE batter a day.
One batter. Gets a hit. You advance. That's it.
No sweating a second pick. No getting eliminated because your second guy got pulled in the 5th. Just you and one batter a night that gets a hit.
There's also a Cycle Jackpot built in — if the batter you pick hits for the cycle that day, you win a bonus $10,000. First eligible entry to pick a cycle hitter takes it.
The contest is $20 to enter, 1,112 spots total — and as a premium subscriber you're getting first dibs before I push this anywhere else. These fill up fast. Our last one was gone before the weekend was over and I have a feeling this one goes even quicker given the one-batter format.
