Day game splits are real. A pitcher who looks great on paper can be a completely different proposition once you account for the time slot. Their averages drop. Their stuff isn't as sharp. The lineup makes more contact in the early hours. Books know this — but they don't always price for it correctly, especially early in the season when the afternoon sample is still building.

That's why I built today's cheat sheet.

Every starting pitcher on today's slate — ranked by their strikeout average in afternoon games dating back to 2024 and compared directly to their posted K prop line for today.

At a glance it tells you who's underpriced, who's overpriced and who the book set at a number that doesn't match what this pitcher actually does when the sun is out.
