ARIEL’S CORNER

🔥  Pitcher Props

MIA RHP Sandy Alcantara Under 17.5 Outs -125

Marlins at Red Sox - 7:10 PM ET

Alcantara has gone under 17.5 outs in eight of 10 road games this year averaging 14 outs in those outings. He owns a 8.87 road ERA and starters are averaging 16 outs per start against the Red Sox this year.

HOU LHP Framber Valdez Over 6.5 Ks -118

Orioles at Astros - 8:10 PM ET

Valdez has gone over 6.5 strikeouts in six of eight home starts against high K rate lineups. Lefty starters are 21-14 o/u their K prop averaging 5.8 strikeouts per game against Baltimore. The O’s have faced nine southpaw starters since the All Star Break, but really only two were good lefties (Matthew Boyd with 8 Ks and Jesus Luzardo with 7 Ks). Valdez is great, especially at home. This probably should’ve been a 7.5 K prop.

DET RHP Charlie Morton Under 5.5 Ks +112

Tigers at Twins - 8:10 PM ET

Morton’s gone under 5.5 strikeouts in all three road starts against teams with low strikeout rates. The Twins are averaging 4.3 strikeouts per game against righty starters. They’re 34-58 o/u their K prop this season too. In the last 10 games, six of 10 went under 5.5 strikeouts. The Twins did strike out a lot against the Yankees, but they always stink against them. With the Twins back home, they really don’t strike out as much with righty starters going under in 5.5 Ks in five of six starts in Minnesota since the break.
