Afternoon Edition - May 22nd, 2025
Hi subscribers! In this afternoon’s newsletter, I’ve included one strikeout prop that stood out in addition to some other important pitcher notes for tonight’s shorter slate. In addition to “Batters to Watch” I’ve also added the “On Fire” section discussing players on hot streaks in MLB. For NBA prop edges, there are two props for each team in tonight’s NBA Western Conference Finals matchup.

Sports betting researcher Jessica Brand also provides her favorite NBA prop of the night. Jessica’s MLB prop from this morning’s newsletter was in the rained out Orioles-Red Sox game.

About Last Night…
Where the PQ Newsletter was RIGHT:
The fishy line cashed as the Toronto Blue Jays crushed the Padres 14-0.
Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns went over his 33.5 points+rebounds prop with 35 points and 12 boards.
Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson continued the “guards crushing the Pacers” trend. Brunson put up 43 points in last night’s Eastern Conference Finals game one.
Brunson went under his 7.5 assists prop with five assists.
The Josh Hart 10+ rebound trend against the Pacers continued. He’s had double digit rebounds in every game against Indiana this year. Despite juice being on the under yesterday, Hart had 13 rebounds against the Pacers last night.
Jessica Brand was on the opposite side of the Taijuan Walker K prop. She had the under 3.5 Ks which cashed at +110.
Where the PQ Newsletter was WRONG:
PHI RHP Taijuan Walker did not go over his 3.5 K prop. He had just two strikeouts in five innings.
A’s lefty JP Sears did not go over his 4.5 K prop. He had four in five innings.
Pacers power forward Pascal Siakam did not go over his 18.5 points prop. He just went under with 17 points.
Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton did not get off to his usual slow start at The Garden. Haliburton went over his 27.5 points + assists prop with 31 points and 11 assists.
Jessica Brand did not go over her Mikal Bridges 16.5 points prop. He just fell short with 16.
