⚾️🏀 The Prop Queen Newsletter

Afternoon Edition - May 14th, 2025

Hi subscribers! In this afternoon’s newsletter, I’ve included batters to watch, one strikeout prop, a fishy line and NBA trends for tonight’s two playoff games. There were a lot of day games in MLB today so one of my K props from this morning’s newsletter already happened. As for the NBA, I’ve showed line movement’s on props from this morning’s newsletter to now.

Sports betting researcher Jessica Brand also provides her favorite NBA prop of the day.

Don’t forget to subscribe to the Prop Queen Sports YouTube Channel!

Tune into the Prop Queen Pod weekdays from 5-6 PM ET for my favorite bets from the newsletter plus great analysis from guests!

On today’s show, BetMGM Network Host Chelsa Messinger gave out MLB and NBA Playoff props. My old friend from SportsGrid Gabe Morency brought his usual chaos and talked all things NBA and NHL Playoffs. Check out the YouTube page ICYMI!

Free subscribers will get access to Batters to Watch. Only basic and premium subscribers can see today’s entire newsletter including games:

About Last Night…

Where the PQ Newsletter was RIGHT:

  • Rockies lefty Kyle Freeland went over his 3.5 K prop with five strikeouts in six innings against the Rangers.

  • Astros left hander Framber Valdez went over his 5.5 K prop with seven strikeouts in eight innings against the Royals. (Royal Lock)

  • Padres righty Dylan Cease punched out 10 Angels in 6.2 innings going over his 7.5 K prop.

  • Cavs power forward Evan Mobley went over his 10.5 rebounds prop with 11 against the Pacers last night.

  • Cavs center Jarrett Allen went well under his 10.5 rebounds prop grabbing just four boards.

  • Pacers power forward Pascal Siakam FINALLY went over 6.5 rebounds with eight last night against the Cavs.

  • Thunder power forward Chet Holmgren continues to underperform offensively going under his 14.5/15.5 points prop with just 14 points against the Nuggets last night. (Royal Lock)

Where the PQ Newsletter was WRONG:

  • Yankees southpaw Max Fried did not go over his 5.5 K prop. He got pulled with five in five innings against the Mariners. (Royal Lock)

  • Unfortunately, OKC All Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s props were spot on last night. He went under his 31.5 points prop with 31 points and under his 38.5 points+assists prop with 38.

  • Nuggets point guard Russell Westbrook did not have a good game against the Thunder going under his 10.5 points prop with just four points.
