I’m selective with MLB futures — especially early. Between spring training and the World Baseball Classic, if I’m betting early MLB futures, I need to make sure they can withstand injuries this early on.
It’s why I don’t like tying up money in teams or numbers that hinge on one guy staying healthy. The futures below stand out because there’s enough depth built in that if someone goes down in March or April, the bet doesn’t immediately feel dead. Buyer beware as always — but these positions are constructed to withstand attrition better than most.
