College Football Betting Analysis for Sept 19th, 2025

Friday night college football features a pair of games that we'll take a look at.

MATT’S CORNER

šŸ”„ Tulsa at Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State (-11.5) Total 54.5

Friday, September 19th at 7:30 PM ET

Just to show you how far Oklahoma State has fallen, they were 17 point favorites on the road at the Golden Hurricane last year and now it's almost six points less at home. The Cowboys have had two weeks to hear about how awful they are and how Mike Gundy should probably be fired. Sophomore Zane Flores is under center for the home team with the injury to Hauss Hejny. Tulsa is also on their backup quarterback in Baylor Hayes. He started last week in the 42-23 loss to Navy at home. Neither team has been prolific offensively, but their defenses have had issues as well. Probably not a bad game to live bet especially if the Cowboys look bad early out of the bye.

MATT’S CORNER

šŸ”„ Iowa at Rutgers

Rutgers (+2.5) Total 46.5

Friday, September 19th at 7:30 PM ET

Iowa has been a pretty good road favorite going 19-8-1 ATS the last ten seasons. They found some confidence in beating UMass last time out 47-7. The defense is good, but not as great as it has been in the past. Rutgers is 3-0, but they have not left home and have beaten two MAC schools and an FCS opponent. These two haven't played since 2023 when Iowa won 22-0 at home. The Scarlet Knights could be without three pieces for this game including RB CJ Campbell, WR Ian Strong and T Tyler Needham. Make sure to pay attention to the participation report released closer to kickoff. To me, there's value on the under here. These are two of the slower teams in the country with Iowa averaging 27.3 seconds per play and Rutgers averaging 30.1.
