Honest confession: afternoon baseball used to be my least favorite thing to bet on.
Then I started pulling afternoon data separately. Pitchers have completely different profiles at 1:35 PM than they do at 7. Once I built a dedicated afternoon K list — ranking every starter by day game performance since 2024 — the slate went from my least favorite research day to one of the most reliable parts of my week.
Today there are 23 pitchers on it. Here's a taste of what's inside:
The No. 1 ranked arm this afternoon averages 7.1 Ks per afternoon start — but the line is set where 79% of his afternoon games have gone under. That's not an accident. The books know exactly what they're doing with that number.
Meanwhile there's a lefty sitting at No. 4 with an 80% over rate on his afternoon prop. Nobody's talking about him. That's the point.
I already did all the work. You just have to use it.
